These terms apply when you use Alma, published by GDN Prime. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Alma.
Accounts
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time passcode. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone secure and for everything done through your account. To open a school's yearbook you enter an access code issued for that school. Linking your account to a school is permanent and cannot be changed later, so choose carefully.
Acceptable use
When you use Alma, you agree not to:
- Post content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit or that harasses others
- Pretend to be another person, a member of staff or an administrator
- Share your access code, or use a code you were not given
- Try to access areas of the service you are not permitted to use, or to disrupt the service
- Copy, scrape or republish yearbook photos and details outside the service
We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, including forum posts and nicknames.
Content and data ownership
Yearbook content such as names, photos and quotes is added by authorized school administrators, and remains the property of the school or the original owner. By posting in a forum you keep ownership of your words and give us permission to display them to the other members of that year group. Your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Polls
Each account can vote once in each open poll. Poll results are for fun and reflect only the votes cast. We may close, reopen or remove polls at any time.
Availability
We work to keep Alma available, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and maintenance or outages can happen without notice.
School subscriptions
A school's yearbook may be hidden when its subscription lapses. While hidden, members of that school cannot view its content. Access returns when the subscription is restored.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, GDN Prime is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of Alma, or for content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You can stop using Alma at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or misuses the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date, and continued use of Alma means you accept the changes.
